Who we are

hrreviewresources.co.uk is run by Black and White Trading Ltd (BWTL), the publisher of HRreview. BWTL is the data controller for personal data collected on this site.

What we collect, and why

When you download a resource we ask for your name, email address, organisation and job title (and sometimes a phone number).

• Box 1 (required to download) is your agreement to receive emails from the organisation that published the resource, named on the form. We pass your details to that organisation so it can contact you. From then on, its own privacy policy also applies to how it uses them.
• The boxes under 2 are optional. Each one is a separate email list: resource updates from HRreview Resources, InsideHR webinar alerts, and the HRreview daily newsletter. You only receive what you tick. We record when you ticked it and on which form, so we can show your consent if asked.

When you sign up for updates without downloading, the same applies to the boxes you tick.

Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is submitting them.

Cookies. You choose which non-essential cookies to allow in the banner shown on your first visit, and you can change that choice at any time.

Where your details are held

On our own websites and contact database, and with the email services we use to send our newsletters and updates. We do not sell your details. We share them only as described above, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. Email [email protected] and mention hrreviewresources.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
